On October 19, 2017 in Căușeni district, in the premises of the Căuşeni District Council, a round table was organized with the generic“The role of multidisciplinary teams (EMT) in solving cases within the National Referral System (SNR) and the Intersectoral Cooperation Mechanism”,
The event was attended by specialists from the multidisciplinary teams from Căușeni, Ștefan-Vodă and Cimișlia districts, addressing the existing difficulties at the local level in the implementation of the SNR and the Intersectoral Cooperation Mechanism with the identification of optimal solutions for legally overcoming them.
AO “National Center for Training, Assistance, Counseling and Education of Moldova” (CNFACEM) and specialists from the Center for Assistance and Protection of Victims and Potential Victims of Trafficking in Human Beings participated in this event, revealing the importance of identification by EMT specialists in the community of abused children and ensuring their effective access to psycho-social and legal services, by considering the Law no. 140 of 14.06.2003 (regarding the special protection of children at risk and children separated from children), the legal methods of referring minor beneficiaries to the Assistance and Protection Center were specified.
A similar event was organized on October 18, in Fălești district, where EMT representatives from Fălești, Sîngerei, Glodeni districts were present.
