The meeting of the Technical Coordinating Group of the Permanent Secretariat of the National Committee for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings was organized in partnership with A.O. “CNFACEM” a working meeting onMay 19, 2017in the premises of the Government House of the Republic of Moldova, during which were presented:
- information regarding the results of the working group’s activity regarding the recognition of the identity of victims and potential victims of Human Trafficking in the Republic of Moldova and existing problems in this segment;
- report on the analysis of legislative and institutional barriers in documenting people in difficulty (the product of the implementation of the project “Recognition of the identity of victims and potential victims of human trafficking in the Republic of Moldova”).
During the meeting, case studies were presented and analyzed, the meeting participants came up with comments and solutions for the faster and more efficient resolution of difficult documentation cases, during the discussions, recommendations were presented regarding the improvement of procedures for identifying and documenting victims and potential victims of TFU.
Thus, towards the end of the meeting, the topics of discussion for the next activity period of the Coordinating Technical Group were identified.
